I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Skyland location. I was using one of the new squat racks to bench press since it’s the only area in the gym with barbells. There were no signs indicating this wasn’t allowed. After I started my workout, the trainer, Dexter, approached me and said I wasn’t allowed to bench press there. Skylands so call trainer acts more like a correctional officer. I guess the intimidation free rule does not apply at the skyland location. 🤷

Giving three stars due to the fact that I’ll only be an evening/night goer at this specific location. One trainer in particular shouldn’t even have the title of trainer as he’s more like a gym cop. I guess the “no judgement zone” and “no gymtimidation” only applies when you pay a membership fee and aren’t paid by the company. My husband and I go to the location due to the convenience of proximity to where we live.
