I just re-joined PF after a few years of trying other places (mostly my own home gym which I have outgrown). I spent two months in Naples, Florida and joined L.A. Fitness for those two months and other than location and proximity to where I was staying, it was the worst gym experience ever. I have been to several PFs in Michigan and elsewhere, and they are always clean and well-staffed. The members and staff are also so, so much more respectful of the equipment, space, and other people. I am a newer member to planet fitness. Wanted to see if this or the local gym for $15 more a month was the best fit. I gave the cheaper option a try first. Been coming a few months…and have noticed disturbing trends…hardly anyone washes machines after use…hardly anyone washes the tanning beds. I have interacted with three nice employees (who the stars go to)…the rest are rude and act like YOU are a inconvenience. You report nasty tanning rooms and are brushed off. Phenomenal place to work out excellent atmosphere extremely welcoming wide variety of equipment add a fair price also the hydro massage tables are amazing and feel great

Today I happily canceled my membership. Black card member for more than 4 years. Always respectful of all members, clean, and responsible. But I refuse to be disrespected by anyone. Especially the manager of a Planet Fitness. Connor is rude, unprofessional, and condescending. A regular front desk employee (Liam) treated me better than the lead manager.
