The only complaint I have about Planet Fitness in Lapeer is the entrance and exit doors. They’re not ADA compliant. We need doors that automatically open and close!
Very clean and friendly
I guess it's too much to ask for consistency... Everytime my husband and I come in there is a different sign in policy.it usually takes about 15 minutes and 4 people to explain it..only to come in on my next visit and it's changed.Very frustrating...I just want to workout and not be treated rude and condescending by employees like Grace the manager and Kim staff member. Jan 26 update: Still very well maintained. Cardio equipment has also been refreshed since last update. Staff as always is very friendly and helpful. July 25 update: They recently did an equipment update and I'm quite pleased. They added a couple more smith machines and another free weight area, but 1 concern, how do you get the treadmill to lower while still doing your routine? Grew up in Lapeer and while I don't live here anymore, I come back during the holidays and in the summer to visit with family. I recently joined Planet Fitness and I was so happy I could get in some workouts while visiting home during the holidays. Staff was very friendly, machines were well kept, and clean. I'll definitely be utilizing this facility when I'm in town.
