Crappy. I've given this place a fair chance but I'm done. Crappy attitudes, crappy tanners and snobby young staff. I get practically zero tan which is probably why it was so cheap. Believe me it's not worth it. I had to join another tanning place to get a base tan before summer. Do you think they'd reduce my membership back down? Not without attitude and grief. My husband had to handle it by threatening to cancel both memberships plus the tanning and since he contracted atheletes foot three months ago and can't get rid of it... read more
The Roseville gym is always dirty. It's run by kids who are more interested in standing behind the front counter talking with each other than helping customers or cleaning the gym. All of the cardio equipment is taken whenever I go in and after I wait to get on the equipment I can see the dried up sweat and filth. I left a great gym and totally regret it. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!
I went as a guest because of the price, I found out why it was only $10 a month after the visit, I was upset with the treatment by staff (non personable), and I was very concerned with many of the members comments, one member was telling me that people bring guests for free and that they "loiter" and don't workout, also that the price is so low that it allows anyone to join creating a non-protected environment. You get what you pay for. I admit the cardio machines are great, but as far as the service and environment, I'd rather pay a little and feel like I'm in an actual workout zone instead of an over-sized basement. For unexplainable reasons, the staff think very highly of themselves and treat customers like idiots. I'm going to Powerhouse!
This gym may be cheap but the staff is rude and always has a bad attitude, terrible customer service. Cancelling my membership and never coming back.
I would never join management is horrible and they lie about their terms.
My car was hit by another vehicle last week and am without a car. I decided to take my school books in my backpack and hike the 2 miles to workout and then go study. When I arrived I explained to the woman at the desk that I was a regular and that my book bag with expensive books and calculator inside would not fit into the locker. I have been going to Planet Fitness for a few weeks now, and I love it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The focus is on the average person, so you don't feel too bad about not looking as good as other members. The price really can't be beat either, and you aren't locked into a lifetime contract like most other gyms. There are multiple cardio machines so that you never have to wait for a treadmill, bike, or elliptical machine. There's even a separate area for an express 30 minute workout.
