Gym memberships are always tricky.... my sister didn't have a good experience, but I did. It was my second gym membership so I knew a little more to better manage the membership. The staff are amazing. Hands down the best service out of all the planet fitnesses I've been to. They recently upgraded their equipment which is very nice, and something I've been looking forward to. Don't join them..I'm an old disabled man. I joined on January 5th for $5.00 promotion $15.00 a month $39.00 a year. My car broke down 2 days later. So having no way to get there. I called to cancel. They said I had to go to the location to cancel. I walked there in the snow storm to cancel. The woman at the counter said it was done.. I'm on ODSP and maid a payment to get my car fixed leaving me with $50.00 for groceries.. I’ve had a really solid experience at Planet Fitness, and I’d definitely give it 4 out of 5 stars. The gym is clean, well-lit, and the equipment is usually in good condition. There’s a great variety of cardio machines and strength equipment, which makes it easy to get a full workout in without feeling limited. The staff is friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They’re always willing to answer questions or offer guidance without being pushy. The environment feels comfortable for all fitness levels — whether you’re just starting out or have been training for years.
