Amazing selection of beads Planet Bead is not to be believed! It has wonderful beads from around the world. The shop also carries unique, sometimes one-of -a-kind artist made beads and jewelry. It also carries any kind of beadwork supplies you could possibly want. Additionally, there are sculptures and other art work all around the store. Incense and new age music greet you as you come in the door. PROS: Amazing selection CONS: Limited evening hours
They have everything They have a huge variety, the selection is incrediable. The staff is extremely helpful. They also offer classes on all different craft related art. Their prices are really good if you buy in bulk, but can be pricey individually. PROS: staff and selection CONS: parking is difficult to find
Planet Bead Store Located in Downtown Milwaukee Planet Bead had a wide variety of beads and yarns for your beading projects. They offer many different types of natural stones at very reasonable prices. The owner is very helpful and friendly.
RecommendedAmazing bead store! Especially for old beads & trade beads. I’ve bought a lot of really cool old indian & African trade beads to add to my collection over the years. I’ve finally started making shadow boxes with my collections. Owner is very friendly & knowledgeable about old beads which is cool when someone shares similar interests & actually knows the history of beads too. Highly recommend this shop.

Stopping in here was a real treat for a friend and I who grabbed a quick getaway to Milwaukee this weekend. A true hidden gem in terms of not only the selection of wares but the passion and availability of the storekeeper, Keith. Will make in a stop any time I'm back in town
