Friendly staff, good cause, pretty good clothes Planet Aid is my favorite used clothing store in Boston. They sell shoes in addition to clothes, and the selection is usually pretty good, although not as big as some other stores (Garment District). The main reason I like this store over any others is the incredibly friendly staff. Little Selection and Expensive Planet Aid is a very small thrift store and it is somewhat overpriced. All the proceeds go to charity though. I found a neat dress there once but there is not very much selection. With the prices being so expensive you should only go there for charity not for thrift.
good selection, well maintained Every time I go to Planet Aid, I feel like I luck out -- rather than the one skirt I thought I was looking for, I find two dresses, a silly hat, and a supercheap pair of pants instead. I think this means that they're a very good used clothing business, constantly turning over their inventory and getting in stuff that's actually appealing and wearable. Planet Aid - harvard Square Planet Aid is a really nice store with good clothes for a good cause. This store is larger than the Newbury Street one and never as crowded. There are always colored tags that are half priced, and the prices are reasonable to begin with. There is also a large selection of odd dresses from the 70's. Some of them are only around $10.
