I went yesterday to an appointment, I found the front desk, medical assistant and doctor to be wonderful, I sent a message through the portal in which I got a response to right away, spoke to a lovely lady named Kathy who was friendly and helpful.
I had a deeply negative experience with Dr. Edward Omerhi at Sturdy Memorial Associates. After I moved over 1,000 miles away, he abruptly stopped refilling my prescriptions for both ADHD and depression — two critical medications I relied on. There was no transition plan, no offer to provide a short-term bridge, and no help finding a new provider in my new state. Just a cold, abrupt cutoff. Ive been going to this practice for over 25 years. My entire family went to this practice seeing Dr Pleasants who was amazing! Since Dr Pleasants left, I have been switched to a few different Drs. I recently have been seeing Pam a NP which I thought was great at first visit. My issue is with the practice itself. They removed me as a patient stating I had 3 no shows when in fact I would cancel through their appt text confirmations which give the option of confirming or canceling. I love my doctor the nurses etc. but the women behind the front desk all need attitude checks. You’re dealing with sick people and patients going through stuff and they are so miserable and rude, and extremely short with you. And that includes both in person and always over the phone. I’m honestly getting quite sick of it because I love my doctor but don’t want to deal with this everytime I call.
Dr Nolan was very accurate with her diagnosis of TMJ, causing pain and discomfort in my left ear. Advil and soft foods were recommended. I googled issues dealing with TMJ and was surprised by the results! Thank You Dr Nolan!
