My family has been going to Mike for 5 years, and he has had some changes in staff over the years, some of the receptionists dont have very good customer service. If you ask for Sandy she is very knowledgeable and polite. People also have to realize this is a busy business and I have been there when they are on the phone and have clients waiting, their is only so much they can do. I am very sorry to hear people have had bad experiences, I will not take my business anywhere else.
The vet is nice and good at what he does but some of the there can be rude. We tried to let it go over and over but it seemed like almost everytime we called or went there we were treated poorly by his staff. Its a shame because we really liked the Dr. but could not tolorate the staffs lack of compassion and customer service. :(
Would not reccomend. Was treated very rudely on the phone. Was told not taking anymore clients, and then hung up on. Would not refer to anyone.
I called to make an appointment for my dog, I was still talking and the receptionist hung up on me. Rude!
Weve been taking our dog and cat to Mike for 3 years now. We actually live in Rochester and dont mind driving out to Plainview to vet. I have nothing but positive words to say about the care he provides. We wouldnt go anywhere else!
Usually mike gets our dog in right away, and its not the treatment that is bad, but the receptionist was terrible and cared more about whether our dog was in the computer rather then trying to get him in! I am furious the way this has been delt with and hope it doesnt happen again!!!
I recommend the Plainview Animal Clinic. They have extremely reasonable prices. I have read the previous reviews and can understand that people may feel treated rudely on the phone, but if they understood the amount of calls and clients the clinic takes on they may be more empathic. Would not go here ever again, unless it is for something minor. In the state of MN the Vet him/herself is required to give the Rabies shot. I went there and the vet was not even in the building, he was gone so the vet tech said she would do it. Dr. Morath is not a nice person. I talked to him on the phone and he was very rude to me. Why would you want to be such a jerk to people who pay you for your services?
