I have been taking my Pug to Mike since Max (the pug) has been born. Mike is compassionate in his own way and has been nothing but wonderful to have as a vet. He is afforadable and knowlegable. I appreciate all that he has done for us and wouldn t go anywhere else. I do wish he would offer bigger/more extensive surgeries but understand that he referrs more extensive cases out to trusted fellow vets.

Seven days ago, I took my seven month old male chihuahua in to be nuetered. After the precedure was done I was told to have his stitches removed in seven to ten days by a vet or I could remove them myself. I was expecting to be giving written instructions on how to do this but was not, nor did the receptionist bother to explain the precedures of removing his stitches, after all I ve never done this before. I have to say Im very disappointed with the lack of concern Dr. Morath, and his receptionist has for thier patients. It ... read more

I am shocked at the poor reviews I have read. I live in Rochester and have been taking my 3 dogs to Dr. Morath for the past few years. Dr. Morath was recommended to be by a friend also. I have never had a problem or found Dr. Morath to be incompetent or rude. He always comes across, to me, as caring, very knowledgeable and accommodating. I have an 11 yr old lab that has arthritis, recurring ear infections and fatty tumors and Dr. Morath was extremely helpful and patient when I asked all my questions. Last summer I brought a small stray (about 15 lbs.) in that we were caring for until her owner was found by Paws and Claws. I was interested in a wellness check. Dr. Morath found nothing exceptional and pronounced her fine. When the owners were found two weeks later they were relieved to get her back, as she was pregnant and due in a week! I was very happy with the love and care Dr. Moreth and his staff gave me and my pets! They helped me with putting my beloved 20 yr old cat asleep and took excellent care of my 3 yorkies! I would highly recommend them!!! When I had gotten my second yorkie a rescue dog and she had a abcessed tooth they worked their schedule to get her in the same day to have the tooth removed. I have never been so happy with a vet!
