My 7 year old completed a long day of psych testing yesterday. Greg has a great team of students and yesterday my son left saying how much fun he had at therapy. It was 4.5 hours straight of games and tests...and my kid wants to go back. That's pretty incredible considering school can feel overwhelming for him. Thank you for making this process easy
When I decided I needed help for life’s complications, I didn’t know where to turn. After researching centers and counselors, I am so grateful that I chose Plainfield Family Counseling Center and Nick Heimer as my counselor. With his guidance and support, I have found strength to face and overcome my fears and move forward to resolve complicated challenges. I will be forever grateful!
I placed myself in therapy thinking I was doing the right thing. I had my career ruined and potentially my child taken from me. Please if you’re going to see a counselor do not use this one if you have gone through any trauma. The therapist did not offer any coping mechanisms she just simply gathered information and reported. If I could give zero stars I would. I’m devastated that victims of abuse have to lose everything by trying to do the right thing.
I purposely waited a few months to leave a review because I didn’t want to write a review when I was angry. I did not have a good experience at this counseling center. I hadn’t seeked counseling in many years and after this experience, I need time before I reach out for therapy again.
Jamie, Greg, and Nick have been amazing in helping my family!
