I think anyone who has survived childhood cancer has probably seen much of the best and worst of American medicine. However, I have never met a medical professional as dangerously inept as Alexis Prusener, who seems to play an unavoidable role in Dr Axman's office. I really like Dr Axman, but Alexis has been such an absolute nightmare that I will probably have to find a new PCP. I am changing my review for Dr. Axman after my last few visits. I ended up changing primary care places because I was treated so badly here by Dr. Axman and a PA. I can to Dr. Axman with some concerning issues. They were in relation to a large issue that I’ve had for years and have told him about every visit. I don’t expect Dr. Axman to teller me as a patient or my symptoms, but he never looks at my chart even when I put in what I’m coming in for. As a fellow physician, I can tell you that Dr. Axman is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. I would happily see him again and refer patients to him as well.

Dr. Axman is an amazing physician. He takes the time to listen to his patients and treats each patient as an individual. He is very personable, has a great bedside manner, and takes the time to explain things fully. Most primary care providers these days just send you around to different specialists, instead he takes his time to understand your problems and targets a treatment plan.

Full disclosure I've never been treated by Dr. Axman. I just thought of him while removing connective tissue from some ribs bound for the smoker when it reminded me of the time we dissected a cat together in anatomy class in high school. He was great then, kind and competent, and judging from these reviews that has not changed.
