Kathleen was my son’s speech therapist for 6 months. She was truly a blessing. My son had a lot of difficulty communicating what he wanted and thanks to kathleen at this point he can now use 3 word sentences. He can also attentively stay on task for up to 15 minutes. Kathleen is not just a speech therapist she is a true teacher and gift to children.

My daughter had services w Ms Kathleen for about 9 months. In those 9 months I saw significant improvement in the number of words she was saying and growth in more than 2 word sentences as well. I also give credit to my daughter who has good adapting skills. But Ms Kathleen was great as she allowed my daughter to get comfortable, she never rushed or pressured my daughter. We had such a wonderful experience with Ms. Kathleen at PJW. As parents navigating the challenges of speech delay, we were so grateful for her guidance and support. I am very disappointed with my experience at PJW Speech and Language. My child’s therapist has canceled twice on the morning of scheduled appointments, which is extremely frustrating for families who arrange their work schedules, childcare, and personal commitments around these sessions. Speech therapy is an important service that requires consistency, especially for young children. Kathleen is great! She has been working with my daughter for almost half a year, and I've seen so much progress in that time. During our sessions, she uses a good balance of free play and structure, which I like a lot, and she also gives really helpful tips on how to communicate with my toddler outside of speech therapy. I highly recommend Kathleen!
