Stopped in this PJ's during the afternoon and they have adorable new desserts! I got the raspberry "entremet" and it was so good! Inside it had mousse, jelly, and some cake. Then there were pistachios on the outside for a little crunch. It was all sitting on a crispy cookie. YUM!
Stopped by PJ’s Coffee for a quick visit while walking around Bourbon Street, and it was a smooth, efficient coffee stop overall. We ordered a couple of coffees along with a spinach feta pastry with a checkered puff-pastry top. Interestingly, the pastry was not listed on the main menu, but it was available at the counter and freshly baked. The spinach feta filling was well balanced, flaky, and satisfying, making it a solid savory option alongside coffee. The coffee itself tasted good. They really need a toaster oven so the bread isn't soggy. They cook using a microwave. Nasty food. If you're a texture person this is def not for you.
Little expensive prices. Nice atmosphere.
