Stopped to grab some k-cups for a relative. Didn't order drinks and the "barista" was not happy that all we were doing was purchasing some of their branded coffee. Place was small and very understaffed. Busy order area saw the same person taking the orders, making the orders, and cashing people out. They need more people on the front line during a busy Sunday morning when all the tourists are looking for some brew.
I stopped here as it was right down the street from my hotel. Great location for me! I tried a different coffee shop every morning when I was in NOLA. This place was super cute and clean. Either the manager or owner was running around picking up and cleaning things as I was sitting in a comfortable leather chair. There's also other Cafe tables people could sit at. White Chocolate Latte with Blueberry muffin Reasonable prices, great coffee and a history lesson from the guy prepping cake for the Super Bowl. I would highly recommend this place
I write this while still on site. I'd questioned stopping in based on other reviews but so convenient, gave it a shot. Got a cappuccino and a spinach/feta croissant, warmed up. Croissant was good, did the trick. I'm less than impressed with the coffee. Strong, yes. But there's an aftertaste I cannot put my finger on. I've had worse, don't get me wrong.
