The clam chowder had the perfect combination of clams, celery, red potatoes & bacon; while the herb crusted walleye melted in your mouth
Ordered the duck ala....... When one orders a duck, you expect to get a duck, not a plate of macaroni and cheese. There were a dozen or so quarter size pieces of very thin, tough duck pieces. Others in our party ordered the pork chops and they were over cooked as also tough. No rolls, salad etc., just a basic main dish. Been going there for many years, a few times a year, and most of the time the food was good. But not this time. You cannot beat the atmosphere however.
Great food, fun atmosphere with live music and great service!
I hate when restaurants add a 20 percent tip to a bigger party... Because 9 times out of 10, the server is very inattentive. Please. Tell the servers to be attentive, even if the tip is included. I am not tipping on table size, instead on service... And yes I was a server. So I get it.
