Read a raving review in sd city beat so decided to check them out. It was just ok. Got their fennel sausage pizza that city beat raved about. Not bad not great. The crust does not seem to be like regular pizza crust but I liked it. The sausage was not all that great though and big lumps of it did not help. While the service was slow, the Caprese was the best I've had, and the bread outstanding, however, I found the pizza overpriced for what I got, while tasty, the middle of the crust was soggy. I had better.
Slow service. Over priced. Underserved. $9 for 3 pieces of friend mozzarella? Just not good food for the price.
My husband and I enjoyed dinner here. It was a busy night, and the service was amazing. They leave a bottle of water on the table, which I really appreciate. We had the mozza caprese and ordered bread (panne bianco) at our server's advice. This was very very good. The mozzarella was very creamy and the bread was a perfect accompaniment.
