Get the piada bread and burrata. It's some of the most delicious bread I have had all year. I also loved the kampachi crudo. Thank you Basta for the hospitality.
The perfect Fall salad - wood-fired vegetables including romanesco, raddichio, beets, carrots, potatoes, arugula, croutons and balsamic. Hamachi crudo on a perfectly creamy bed of celery root purée. And Nick gets my nomination for best Boulder bartender with his aged mix of bourbon, red vermouth, and Campari. Plus he knows a lot!
Barely anything to choose from on the menu. So I ordered the pizza & it was burnt. This place is awful.

really the highlight of my culinary visit to one of the best culinary spots in the country. great to meet Kelly, check out the wood mill, "R2D2" and taste through the bread/burrata course, rapini, duck contit, clam pizza...cannot wait to get back.
It was my second time at Basta. I had the whole fish the first time and it was more than memorable. My friends both had the pizza-both delicious. I had the corn soup and panzanella salad. The soup was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, the incarnation of late Colorado summer. The salad boasted a “smoked balsamic” and it was perfect. It got better the longer it sat. I paired it with a dry red wine. It was a perfect meal. ❤️
