Was soooo disappointed when I went to the location by North HS when Pizza King opened there. I guess they couldn't afford to put the ground beef and toppings on my strom (since they just spent all that money to expand to the north side) I basically paid for some baked bread that used to be a storm before one of the employees decided to pick off my toppings and left me the sauced bread!!!!
They get a lot of hype over their stroms - and they deserve everything they get because there is nothing in the world that can compare to one of their stroms - however their pizza is surprisingly fabulous too. Plus at every location besides weinbach you can eat in and have an ice cold beer. PK is a great local tradition and I highly recommend anyone in the area to try them out - coupons in the AT&T phone book if you are eating for more than 1 person!
My daughter calls Pizza King "swawesome" which I think is a mix of awesome and sweet. From an adult standpoint it's nice to be able to swing through and pick up a great dinner for the whole family and see everyone excited to sit down and eat together. They have several great coupons in the coupon section of the Yellowpages which are like the icing on the cake. Great job Pizza King.
I just moved to the Evansville area and wasn't in the move for pizza so I had a stromboli delivered... this has now become one of the GOOD reasons I live here now. One of the best things I have ever tasted.
I was born and raised in Evansville, Ind I now reside in California. I usually come to Evansville every year, this year I didn't make it. I always buy a Stromboli they r soooooo good. I have ask our pizza places here but no one knows what I'm talking about. Is it possible to get one shipped to me or get the recipe? Thanks sonia
Their Strombolis are the bomb. They come in hot medium and mild. They are a must have if your looking for good food.
