Our main attraction, naturally, is our pizza. Our style is New York thin crust. We offer about thirty toppings in any combination you like. The pepperoni is particularly flavorful, different from the stuff you're probably used to. We are extremely generous with our portions. For this reason, we suggest you limit yourself to 3-5 toppings. I was recommended this place by a friend. I'm not sure what she was thinking. This pizza was bad. The pizzas were overloaded with toppings to the point that I couldn't see any cheese underneath. I ordered the crust done crispy, and it came so limp that it couldn't support the toppings. The pizza folded over itself into a 90-degree angle and the toppings sloughed from the slice. The Forest Ave store is my Disney World. I want to live there. I have been ordering Double Pepperoni pizza from this location for almost 2 decades and have only been disappointed when the box is empty. Even when I moved from Portland to Lewiston I would make it a point to swing through and pick up a pie on the way home. I love that I legit need two hands to pick up their sandwiches.. As odd as it sounds, for the 70-100 times I’ve picked up food from the Joint.. I’ve NEVER tasted their pizza.. All the awesome reviews on here are making me think I’m due for a pie!
I had a bad experience previously and decided to give them another try. I ordered chicken strips and a salad. I received 2 1/2 strips for almost $4, like really. Also I was exactly 1 block away if it were not for the fact I was working I would have walked down myself so the $4 delivery charge for a block was redic. I will not be coming back or calling for delivery again!!!!!!
So disappointed Steve got a pizza Saturday night, his favorite....pizza joint pepperoni... urnt to a crisp! And they sold it to us!
