Depends on who actually will respond to your issue(s). New Director is great, Mr. Andy Cambi smart, personable, easy on the eyes, will follow up to make sure PHA actually complies with directives. Suggestion- get an answering machine so complaints can be verbalized and there is a record of it.
I’d give half a star if I could-and that would be just for showing up! Zero follow up to make sure cited complaints are fixed ZERO consequences for landlords who are ignoring blatant safety issues (heating, plumbing and electrical as well as smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors) a complete waste of time the city of Pittsfield should be ashamed.
This place is horrific and should be condensed by the mayor. They come on your property with no identification and when asked they get above the law attitude saying " they don't need to prove who they are". This is bad policy in this drug infested city which would allow criminals to take advantage of the elderly and people with disabilities. Secondly, there facts are totally false and made up. Can be good or awful. It depends who you actually get to answer your concerns. I have had both very good and very bad results. And The Pittsfield Housing Authority Maintenance "director" knows he has had carte blanche for yearly malfeasance at Providence Court - NAILING all functional windows in the Annex Building 379 East St shut, removing a/c and heat thermostats. Non functional air vents and central air units not working, refusal to test of toxic air quality in the Annex building, non compliance from SMOKING tenants. Fire... read more
