Don’t use this magistrate. He favors companies, even disobeying the law to allow them to do as they please. My landlord wasn’t paying me my security deposit and I filled this after 30 days, then at court the landlord said he would pay it back but not the damages incurred paying past 30 days - which the law is the law. This magistrate should not be judging if he is going to ignore the law to favor landlord companies.

Nobody likes going to court, even magisterial court, but the honorable Daniel Butler is fair, objective, listens to both sides carefully, and renders a just opinion. Although there is always one winner in one loser, in our case both sides felt that they were treated fairly, and that their arguments were listened to. Neither side got exactly what they wanted, but the judgment was fair.
