I’ve had multiple interactions with several different people at this department regarding tax compliance and requests to purchase city owned property and each experience has been pleasant. Thank you all. Quick tip - if you’re unsure of who to contact about your issue, email/call your local council person directly and they can likely point you in the right direction.

Remarkably slow and ineffective in addressing needs and concerns of city residents. I have spent 9 months (so far) attempting to get a tax refund check issued after a court appeal; without my biweekly calls I doubt I'd have gotten any traction to this point. Over four months of contact was required before the refund was even started in processing, followed by three months of being told it was just waiting for a signature.
