Greg Lewis, his family and staff, enhance and charm Pittsboro and Chatham county with a wonderful restaurant and venue near the Courthouse. The food and service are excellent and Greg's generosity and commitment to community include hosting Chatham Community Church for 3 Sundays when we were flooded and providing packaged meals for seniors delivered on Sundays. We have eaten many times at the Pittsboro Roadhouse and General Store, but ordering the family take-out dinner is a new adventure for us. Today was my second time and the selection, quality, portions, variety, and service is well worth the purchase cost. Food was fresh and hot, or cold, as in those dishes that should have been cold. We stopped for lunch on A Monday. The menu was fresh and fun! The grilled pear and arugula sandwich was delicious, as was the chicken salad sandwich. We’ll be back for dinner and some live music!!
