We went yesterday (Monday) and had a blast! Dinner, dancing, and live music what else's could you ask for? The staff was wonderful and the band, Mr. Wonderful, was excellent. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Pittsboro Roadhouse for a great night! It was just what we needed.

Just a pit stop on our day and we had never been there. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was the best I had ever had in my 48 years. A little bit spicy with slices of red pepper, mushrooms, and bacon. The grits were just the right creamy and the shrimp was done right! I think I would drive from where we live in Cary just to eat that dish again!
Went in today because foursquare showed an item I have missed for years. They no longer serve it but that is ok! I went with the kitchen sink burger and wow! Messy for sure but as my mother says.... if the babies fave is a mess they enjoyed their food. Luckily I will always be her baby as i was a mess and enjoyed my food! We went to see Trial By Fire Friday night. First visit and totally loved the atmosphere. The people were friendly and actually talked to Greg who treated us like he knew us for years. We are going back this Saturday and hope the experience is equally as great. Coming from Raleigh so it was well worth the 45 min drive.
This was the worst experience I have ever had. Friday was our 1st & last visit! My steak was incorrectly cooked and was told it would take too long to re-cook because they were busy. Literally it was charcoal black....how is that med rare?! My husbands fish was freezer burnt. The waitress walked away in the middle of ordering. It took forever to get someone back so we could LEAVE. Never have i endured such terrible customer service and i paid $60 to eat NOTHING!!!! And, I do apologize for a bad experience. I would say that when Chapel Hill closed all of their restaurants every restaurant within 30 minutes got over run. We had no time or warning to prepare for that. We were not staffed for the amount of volume that was coming through the doors. Had a great time with friends enjoying the live music and delicious food. The service was outstanding and we can't wait to go back.
I really enjoyed myself. It was my first time there and I went to hear the Band Bad Moon Rising, they were awesome. The food was good and the atmosphere in general was awesome as well.
