he actual service has been horrible. I got a bill in July and paid it. Then got notified that I never paid it. I sent my bank statement and called back 5 times (each time put on hold for 15-20 minutes). I was then told that they never received it after calling many times to confirm. I tried to lodge a formal complaint but was told they do not have ' a complaint department.' The three times I asked for managers there were non available. Very unprofessional with no concern for the patient. I never received a bill from Pitts but did receive a notice from the collections company. When I called Pitts the automated system said they made several attempts to contact me so the account had been turned over. I held on for a representative and told her my concern that I never received a bill nor did I get any phone call. On November 8, 2011 I received services from Pitts Radiology and provided both primary and secondary insurance at the time of service. I later obtained a bill from the company that was not submitted to insurance. I called to inform them that I had primary and secondary insurance. They sent me an updated bill a month later with the primary insurance billed. I sent an email to the company asking that they bill my secondary insurance and I again included my secondary insurance.
