Great Finds on all Kinds of Salvaged Items If you don't have vision of what an item can become, you shouldn't comment against this place. There are so many different and interesting salvaged items here it is hard to take it all in. Its not a pretty showroom for sissies that drink premium tea with pinkies held high. But excellent for a visionary who doesn't mind getting dirty and getting a great deal. I have never left there dis-satisfied, have always been given a great price and have been treated fair and kind.

Good deals to be had Not sure where the 1 star ratings people are shopping, that's why its called a "salvage" yard. I have never been declined a purchase, and felt my purchases were reasonably priced. Maybe some people think that because it could seem to be a junk yard they can get stuff for nothing !? You do have to be "up for the hunt" as stated in another review.

Pitsch what a waste of time My friends and I have stopped in a few times and the guy at the counter can't seem to part with anything or the prices are equal to that of an antique store. I was quoted10 dollars for an object due to it's weight as scrap metal, well it might have made sense if it had been unobtainium? We walked out and will never go back or refer anyone.........

Don't Bother Even if you do manage to find something you want in the salvage buildings, there's an excellent chance they won't sell it to you anyways. TWICE in a row, I've found items (some steel table legs, an old Civil Defense Geiger counter) that the guy in the store refused to sell to me. Finding cool items and/or bargains is only cool if you can convince someone to actually sell it to you...

Cool Stuff! Pitsch Wrecking has a huge warehouse of salvage items for your old house. Doors, windows, knobs, sinks, etc., can be found here. Prices are reasonable. However, you must be up for a hunt! The store is a typical salvage store - it's organized moderately well but you sometimes need to dig to find the good stuff. A fun place to visit - check it out!
