Changed my review as of 10/07/2024 I have been discharged as Dr. Pitera’s patient after paying cash for 3 years every 3 months. Mary the receptionist decided to pull a scheme because she didn’t want to accept my insurance. Instead of just denying me an appointment she fictitiously discharged me claiming behavior slandering my name to my company’s insurance company who emailed me telling me it was for “behavior reasons.”
Dr. Pitera was a turning point in my mental health journey. From the very first session, he made me feel genuinely comfortable, heard, and understood. His approach is both compassionate and professional, and he takes the time to truly listen. As a first responder, it can be difficult to open up, but Dr. Pitera’s experience and empathy made it easier to talk about the challenges I face. I highly recommend him, especially for anyone in high-stress professions seeking meaningful and effective support.
