I waited 6 months for appt. I came into office and paid co-pay immediately and then window of receptionist shut. I came early for appt. One hour later still sitting in reception no contact / I asked receptionist what status was. I was advised that I "might " come to a room in another half hour but every room was currently occupied. I considered this very inappropriate. Why no communication? No excuse .

Desde q se unieron a la Universidad de Miami el funcionamiento de la oficina como llamadas, appt , otras funciones como dejar documentos importantes los perdieron etc bueno sin más explicaciones, no funcionan correctamente y appt para 6 meses ...intolerable..

I had a very negative experience with Dr Pita. On my first appt (in person), I waited almost 3 hours to be seen. I’m usually pretty patient however I noted there were a lot of overbooks. I was first seen by his PA who did the initial history and exam. When Dr Pita entered the room, he walked straight up to me, without even greeting me and simply placed his hand on my throat to feel my thyroid, and maybe talked to me for about 5 minutes.
