I try to keep my palate on its toes. Consequently, I appreciate a restaurant which has the same thing in mind. Pisces is just such a place. Scratch-made empanadas as an appetizer? In a sushi joint? Check. Creative sushi rolls focusing on unexpected ingredients like mango, gator, and three types of mushrooms? Got it. Ginger creme brûlée?! Really? Yes, really.
