I’ve been to Pirrone’s Pizza before, years ago when this location first opened, and I remember the pizza being incredible. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a completely different experience. When I walked in, the place had a noticeable mildew smell, which wasn’t great. I ordered garlic cheese bread (very bland and tasteless) and a medium pepperoni pizza. I hadn't been here in a couple of years. It's still one of the best. Don't skip the bread, salad and t-ravs. If you get full, you can eat the pizza cold later! Addison was our server and she was wonderful.
We came in later than our normal dinner time after one of the kids had a soccer game down the street. Not realizing it was within 15 minutes of their closing for the evening. Not one person acted bothered by our being there. We felt welcomed and never felt rushed. While I wouldn’t typically go in to a restaurant that close to closing time, I was happy that the kids could get something to eat and we didn’t have to pack them back up in the car and find something else.
