RecommendedWe were in need of a part for an older outboard. The part had been discontinued. Wherever we checked we told it’s out of stock. On line , as well..I called Pirie Marine and the owner searched..he had none ,his suppliers had none, but he didn’t give up. I had an older 1970's Johnson outboard that came on a boat I purchased. I knew very little about the motor, and Jason was quick to assist me in looking it over and educating me on exactly what I needed to know. I will certainly continue to do business with Pirie Marine in the future.
After trying for months to fix an older 84 evenrude myself (bad idea) and trying a couple other major boat mechanics in the area (one that set it on fire) i gave Pirie's a call. Seemed very Knowledgable on the phone so i ran it up to them. took about 2 weeks because they are busy but thats a good thing. The others i went to were not busy. May be something to that. well anyway i put it in the water this morning and knock on wood it runs like a new motor. Very helpful and knew their stuff. called about a part, thay had it in stock, drive 40 miles one way to get it and then they dont have it. but could sell me a kit for 3 times the money. would not go back
We recently purchased a used boat. Before putting it in the water for the first time we took it to Pirie Marine to have it checked out and make sure it was good to go. Jason and his crew did a great job and made some excellent recommendations about what to do immediately and what will be coming up for maintenance in the future. They are very easy to work with but professional at the same time. I’ll definitely be a returning customer !
These guys have always done a great job for me and what I feel is a fair price. I'll keep going back.
