Originally built in the early '70s, Patricia and Joseph Kandler purchased Pirates Cove Motel in 1978. Since then, their family's been hard at work refining their cozy accommodations. Their children, Deb and Joe, are now also helping out and have a real passion for management, hosting, and home renovation. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Pirates Cove Motel this year. The owners renovated the rooms over the winter. They are nicely decorated and are comfortable. The larger refrigerator and microwave were put to good use. I will definitely stay here again should I visit Rehoboth.
NONEXISTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE, AND FILTHY – 1. Housekeeping did not come for two full days. 2. Filthy room conditions. 3. We left a large pile of dirty wet towels in front of our door, outside. They sat there for two days until we asked for new towels, to which they responded and I quote, "What do you need them for?" "Housekeeping has not been to our room in two days".
