A perennial favorite for our family. Our children are 10 & 7, and we have been doing this on our yearly trip for the past 9 years. Captain Flint and the crew provide a fun, campy, Island adventure that always brings smiles and nostalgia for us. A great Vineyard tradition to support for sure. ~ Just watch out for any cutthroat pirates out to steal your treasure!
We have been on the Pirate Ship with our kids a number of times and it is always a great experience. This year we booked the Sunset Cruise with the Pirate Experience and it was so much fun for the entire family (grandparents down to a 4 year old). If you have a large group with adults and kids I definitely reccomend booking this. You will not be disappointed!
Absolutely amazing family experience! This is a must-do for anyone with young kids visiting MV. Hands down the best family entertainment we’ve ever enjoyed—from the minute we stepped on board to when we docked. A seriously amazing, professional group of sailors and entertainers who pulled out all the stops and went above and beyond to make our kid’s day! Thank you MV Pirates!
Just the absolute best. The staff was super friendly, engaging for children of all ages (and even some cheeky puns for the adults). Boat is in immaculate condition, lots of cute goodies for the kids, and they’re actively engaged the entire ride. Shout out to Pirate Goldie for the amazing acting/commitment to her role, ha! Thanks for a great experience — our little pirate is still talking about it nearly a week later :)
