I ate here for the first time yesterday. The Dancing eel roll was wonderful, it was my first time to try eel. The volcano was disappointing, I expected more spice, not a spicy type Ketchup sauce and the crayfish was overdone. The jalapeño poppers were divine. I love it here. The sushi is always so incredibly fresh. My youngest daughter didn't really like what she ordered they took it back and replaced it with something else without question. The waitress was amazingly patient with her. Took my oldest several months ago and sat at the bar. I absolutely love this place. Not only is their sushi delicious and beautifully presented, their other food items are excellent and everything is priced fairly. My boyfriend enjoys the blue crab fried rice and I love the salmon wok. In fact, out of 5 restaurants I visited and ordered salmon from, Piranha was the only one that cooked the salmon perfectly. Terrible service. Rice is, I guess stale. It tastes like yesterday's HEB sushi today. If that makes since. Sat at the sushi bar and had the chefs blatantly ignore myself and another coupe while we all waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. I've was reluctant as I've only been here once 5 years ago. I now know why When in the area choose the sushi place in Lincoln Heights shopping center. So Bummed!
This was my first time and I loved it! OMgoodness the Tuna Tower was beautiful and oh so tasty. I had the dragon roll and added cream cheese and Mosago. Yummy, Yum, Yum❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
