College Football, Sake and Sushi – Piranha just saved my Saturday. My girlfriend made plans for us to meet her friends and when I wanted to watch college football. Piranha had the game on and the girls were able to talk. Food amazing and drinks too. We
consistant – I was impressed with the Piranha in Ft Worth a few weeks ago so I decided to try the one closer to my house. I have to say the food is just as good at both locations and I am happy to find a new place to grab lunch.
Excellent service! – I eat at Piranha about once a week so I had to give these locations a review. Really I love sushi so I would be easy to please anyway, but the service is also really good at Piranha and the drinks are perfect for an "after work" stop. I am definitely a fan!
Try the boat!! – We went for our anniversary, and the food was really good. They actually brought out warm towels before which was refreshing. The waiter seemed a big unfriendly, but always did his job promptly. We ordered the boat and requested more sashimi and that is what we got. It was so much food. The yellow tail was amazing!! If you can get past the not so friendly staff, you'll enjoy it!!
Expensive Disappointed – Recently on August the 10th, I went to eat in south Arlington Piranha. Perhaps because my friend and I are both Japanese and we know real Japanese food, we expected a treat. We ordered Agedashi Tofu, Spicy Tuna Roll and Tuna Nigiri. However, with our very first bite, we both looked at each other and wondered what in the world we were eating. Loved the sushi but hated the service – The sushi was great, especially the volcano roll! Our waiter was very attentive sometimes and couldn't be found when we needed to go. The biggest disappointment though were the stuck up hostesses when we walked in. How do they keep their jobs being rude?? I thought hostesses were supposed to be nice and helpful??
Does Good Sushi Overrule Bad Music and Service without a smile????? – Food's excellent..BUT THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! It takes forever to get your order and good luck finding the waitress after your first round of sushi. YUMMMMMY! – I LOVE this place!! Even my boyfriend (who's from california) says this is the best sushi he's had since he's been in Texas! Seriously...have not found a place YET that compares!
Good Food, Okay Service – This was my first time visiting this restaurant and there's nothing in particular about it that makes me want to go back. My date and I shared a California Roll (I've had much better) and the Wasabi Crusted Salmon Roll. I definitely recommend that roll. Besides that the menu was cute but didn't explain much about your entree/appetizer, it listed the name of the platter but not what comes on it.
