St. Partick's Day special We had some good meals here several times. They have plenty of bar food and so entree specials. But the best meal of the year is the St. Patrick's Day buffet. The corn beef is lean and practically no fat on it. It's going to get crowded so you better get there early.
Typical Bar/Restaurant We ate dinner here once - after being told that it was a great place to eat. We weren't all that impressed. The food was so-so. The prices were a bit much for the establishment and the place was so smokey that we could hardly breathe. I don't think that we'll return. Unless we go during summer time and can eat outside.
Nix the Q&A guy . . . please! Because we have always had good food and a cozy place to chat with friends, we once again returned to Piper's. Guess we had never been on Sunday night. The DJ/Q&A guy was so annoying and loud, making conversation almost impossible. Looking around, it seemed almost no patrons were enjoying the venue. Hopefully Piper's will rethink this one or we will have to keep them on our "never on a Sunday" list. Too bad as food has always been good and atmosphere relaxed, with great service.
Great Food! We love going to Pipers. The food is always good, the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's a great place to take the kids and also for the adults to meet and hang out for a bit. One of our favorite times is on St. Patty's - they have a very tasty buffet.
