I visited here recently with a family member who is needing treatment. The staff was incredible-above and beyond. I've worked as an ER nurse for years and I am shocked at how amazing the staff here is. Dr. Karen Hendershott treated my family member with respect, care, and was able to contextualize her diagnosis and treatment plan in a way that made sense to them (which isn’t something I always see happening when she visits a doctor). Everyone I encountered here (the volunteer, RN, PA, radiologist, and techs) were great. They explained things thoroughly, were calming, and took time to answer questions. The office itself was a very clean and calming space. I would return here for future needs for sure. Overall a great experience doing something that isn't super enjoyable!
I just met Dr. Altman at Abbott Northwestern to discuss my cancer treatment. I was so impressed that she knew so much about me. To me that shows that she cared enough to get to know me before we met in person. I never once felt rushed during my appointment. I had many questions about our plan and felt very confident that she would execute them thoughly.
