I checked the website the night before and it said they were open FRIDAY SATURDAY & SUNDAY. I looked on FB the morning I was ready to go and same info. I drive 1 1/2 hrs one way for my daughters birthday full of activities in Salem and ... this was closed down and no notices on the entranceway. VERY frustrating. For anyone else, don't trust the website or FB. CALL
Absolutely love this place! Love the creative events, like the Spice Festival in the fall time. The tour is awesome. I am saddened though, that this hidden gem is not funded enough to make repairs to some of its buildings and huts. I would have really liked to see some of the parts of the buildings/huts, but either they have been vandalized, deteriorated, or home to wasps.
We love this event, this is our 2nd year. We sold the glow lights. Timmys Angels thanks you for letting us sell and raise money for our upcoming toy and coat drive.
I really loved it alot so my Deaf friends really enjoyed it alot. And the interpreter is brilliant last night. Thinking to come back next year to this event .
Went to "Pumpkins in the Village" event. It was amazing, the story tellers were on and it was fun. My only complaint was that there was to many flashlights it took aways from the affect.
