My son was admitted and stayed for four in a half months. He learned some good tactics however, he was discharged early. The therapist was good until he gave his notice, and didn't care. I am still being abused by my son, none of those issues were addressed before discharge even during our family therapy sessions. He was good for the first two days and went right back to hiding things, and violent behaviors. The discharge planner did call however he talked to my husband who didn't tell them all that was going on. It's funny ... read more

I read some of the reviews from other parents and I have the same complaints.. giving kids medications that I have already said NO to over and over again and then get told that a medication that she isn't suppose to be on they gave her two doses of the day before... no means no... I have list of issues with this facility, it seems never-ending, my daughter has been there three times and comes out worst every time.. I wouldn't trust this facility with a pet rock to be honest

We came to PP hoping to find answers and information. Once we entered, we were locked in and even though we tried to leave to find treatment elsewhere, we were forced to admit our child. He was admitted without our consent after PP called DHS stating medical neglect. The state later found there was no medical neglect. He was admitted after being severely bullied at school only to be bullied by other patients he was locked up with, to include being kicked in the scrotum, objects thrown at him and threatened to be killed. ... read more

I'm 14. I've been there 3 times, once for long term. I was just discharged yesterday. After bawling my eyes out and describing the horrors that the other reviews describe to the therapist AND the supervisor, neither of them believed me at all. When my mother talked to my doctor on the phone for the better part of an hour with the promise that he'd actually talk to me instead of just going through the basic psych questions and saying have a good day, he just did exactly that. I told my mother this and she pulled me out ASAP. ... read more

I will not every send my child here again. For one the only reason did was because I felt a if my hands were tied between the school and DHS's involvement. OK, So I signed the paper stating that they had to call me first before giving my daughter any prescription medications. I found out they gave her a medication for anxiety (that i did not authorize) because she told me. So we were going to go get her... they tell us the dr will not release her and if we come to get her they will put her in protective custody... REALLY? So... read more
