Rent increases every year with no updates to the buildings. They do not take care of maintenance issues just patches up problems. Yard dogs allowed in buildings with dog feces around complex. Does not ensure property security for residents with broken gates and intercoms not fixed. Tenants pay for security but do not get it.
Me, my son and cousin, moved in a few months ago at 13414 DOTY AVE HAWTHONRE, CA. Thinking the leasing office would follow the same rules they expect from us. But clearly, that’s not the case. The pictures show it nobody’s been cleaning the common areas for weeks. I literally stood there and watched the guy who’s supposed to clean. All he does is sweep and water the front where the on-site manager lives and The outside front of the building, That’s it. I lived at their Amapola location for about 2 years and had a positive experience. The apartment was great for the price and I didn't have any problems.
Considering that the owner doesn’t truly invest in renovation to 13414 Doty Ave and the staff At the leasing office are very rude. It’s LOUD AND Noisy. DO NOT RENT. GET A HOUSE INSTEAD. I HAD LIVED THERE since 2010. On a Sociological point of view, even though property owners have the PPP loan, SBA, and ERC money, there has not been any modern updates to the property nor the units, unless someone moves out, but have to live with a downgraded unit and increase rent. Considering that the owner of this place is forever, taking vacations, and the staff members are very rude. I've been living in one of their buildings since 2010. Even though property owners have the PPP loan, SBA, and ERC money, there has not been any modern updates to the property nor the units, this company is only known for patchwork and harassing tenants, when there has been no updated health inspections for every unit by the city.
