Would not recommend I have lived at Abbie Lakes for about 6 months now. There is mold growing in my apartment and a disgusting musty odor to it. I have lived in many apartments and have never seen nearly as many insects as in this one. In general, I have found the office staff to be very rude and uninterested in assisting residents with any problems. I will definitly not be renewing my lease!
Not what we were expecting This place is horrible! The largest problem with this apartments is their lack of security in the complex. They use it as a selling point but the gates are constantly broken and the doors leading from the garage into the building will break and it can go up to a month without being fixed...some security. We have lived here for 3 years and in the last year the crime has sky-rocketed in the last year, there have been multiple break-ins and a couple of vehicles stolen. Only the RICH can afford to live here (but why would they want to?) Let's just say the Connor Group is headed by Larry Connor who wrote he graduated suma (sic) cum laude and has visited all five continents on his company's official website. Residents are required to pay utilities to a group called Heartland that he also owns. Your rent covers the right to live there; absolutely nothing else. Spectacular Senior Living My name is Sharon and I have been living here at Destinations for well over two years. I have nothing but wonderful reviews for this place. The people here are friendly and engaging. We have group lunches at the club house from time to time and we have activities to do as well. The activity's range. Sometimes we do crafts or play games. why i would not recommend this apartment? It was a disappointing experience that I had while I was there. It took the maintance people a long time to get things fixed. I have to wait for them to fix my toliet like five or more times. It was a lot of problems. The people in the office were okay but I would not recommend for people with kids to stay there because it is too small.
Love it here, staying as long as I can I am going on my third year of living here, and I cannot say I've enjoyed living anywhere else as much as I enjoy it here. The management staff is fantastic. If you have any issues they are very quick to get it resolved, or at least let you know the soonest time that it will be (if something has to be ordered or scheduled in). BELL MGMT has a VERY BAD RING! STEER CLEAR! CAVEAT EMPTOR! I have been a resident for nearly 5 years. When I first moved in, the property was unbelievably perfect in ways I could never dream apartment living could be. Sick of this place I have lived at Jefferson Lakeside for 5 months and have had 11 maintenance calls. 4 of them were due to water leaking. My bedroom furniture is ruined and all they keep saying is we will take care of it. This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. There are breakins and vandalism daily, I am a single parent and I do not feel it is safe for my children to play outside or for me to walk alone in the community.
