My first mistake was thinking this was a BBQ place. There was no visible BBQ pit or signs of smoke, let alone a sign big enough to see. This is a small hole in the wall diner with very little BBQ offerings on the menu. I arrived at 5:30 pm and they were out of Baby Back Ribs, should have left then. Don't waste the gas to drive out.

You must try the half-chicken dinner. It's smoky and flavorful, and the meat melts in the mouth. Pink Pig is one of our favorite restaurants in Lompoc. We have eaten in the dining room and takeout many times, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant is clean and has that small-town-diner vibe that has nearly disappeared under all the chain restaurants and fast food places taking over California.
