Agreed with previous negative comments . He is crude , rude and unprofessional . Does not advocate for patients . Walks in the room And stands one foot in the door and one out , doesn’t like questions and doesn’t like being questioned or pushed for blood work , cat scans or pet scans . I asked for pet scan never got it and I asked multiple times for keytruda and gene mutation blood work and he refused until my dad was on his death bed then he approved . We had a great experience for an initial consult. He took his time to explain the recommended treatment protocol. he made us laugh and cry we had a lot of conversations and he answered all of our questions. This was our second opinion from another doctor who recommended a different protocol, and we feel very confident to go with Dr. Gu and his team.
No bedside manner. You would think people with cancer would receive kindness from their doctor when coming in for treatment, not hostility and nastiness. Many talented doctors out there, I would NOT recommend Dr. GOO!
Dr Gu is wonderful. His scheduling department is pathetic. Too bad he will lose a patient over office staff.
