Edited 9/1/25: Yet another update to this review.. we had another maintenance issue (go figure) the morning we left for a week long trip, our washing machine stopped working. Until this point we hadn’t allowed maintenance to enter our unit unless someone was home, based on what we’ve seen when we were home. Well, turns out, that was the right decision! I have lived here for over 4 years, it is so quiet only two units per floor, I have never had an issue with maintenance, if needed there were there, and addressed any issues quickly! Storage and space is not a issue, I felt as if I had a small home, this corner apartment that we have is the best banks of windows in living/ dining looking to the mountains The back bedroom which we used as a office/sewing room looks over Marston Lake We have truly enjoyed are time here.
Update as of 8/19: I wanted to be sure to provide an update on this matter for the benefit of future residents. Do not be fooled by the quick response to any of these reviews. It is my experience that even if they reply and ask you to reach out to them, they simply will ignore you and do nothing for you. For proof I’ve attached the two attempts I’ve made to speak with a representative from Tonti Properties, one before leaving this apartment complex and the other being sent to them after THEY requested I reach out. Edited 8/12/25: Unfortunately I have to update this review with even more negative information about The Pines. I live in building 5 and have had a leak coming from the water heater closet going on 3 weeks now. The leak has extended to outside of the building, through the door of the utility closet, as well as the wall of my son’s bedroom. These are carpeted areas! This is completely unacceptable as we have contacted maintenance several times and had to practically beg to get a plumber out to “unclog the main drain”. Which, ... read more
If you’re looking to live at the Pines at Marston Lake.. strongly consider looking to live elsewhere. This apartment complex, the leasing company, etc. do not give one iota of concern for the health or well being of the residents of this complex. During the two years my wife and I had the misfortune of living here we endured car theft, car break ins, stolen cars being dumped here, our mailbox being broken into 6+ times, and somehow the worst of all of this was the sewage leak we had to deal with.
