We had Sue come out to our house July 2018. She was so friendly, in my opinion too friendly and you could tell she wanted our sale very badly. When she showed us the samples of the colors, the samples were no larger then a 1x1. I said to Sue, I can't make a decision on a pool based on this. She had us meet her at a clients house local to us to see the product. We did and it seemed nice. On that same trip she insisted to accept our 1/2 deposit. We did give her 1/2 deposit. They are only interested in collecting your money, not doing a good job and not finishing the work they were hired to do. We hired them to do a pool and deck. Two months later, the deck is still not finished and she no longer takes our calls. She did not however, have any problem calling several times an hour to collect payment just before Christmas, and assured us that the work would be finished before the New Year.....guess what, she lied. On 7/24/18 I contracted with them to resurface my pool and gave them a 50% deposit. Over the next 7 weeks I had little response to my inquiries of being put on the schedule. After requesting a refund they finally began the 3 day job on 9/17/18 only to finish on 9/24/18 at which time they camped out at my home awaiting payment. Pinellas Marcite Finishers is likely going out of business soon. Therefore, they don’t care about anything anymore hence all these negative reviews lately. We have filed a complaint with the Pinellas County consumer protection board because they stole our money three months ago and have not done any work at all. They owe us over $4000 that we paid them and no work has been done. In fact we had to hire another pool company to do the work and we now have the work done through another pool company.
