Updated review: Pinetree Seafood is an absolute must when I’m in Maine. I couldn’t leave Maine without the crab rolls. And the smoked salmon, be it plain, everything lox, or the pastrami lox. It’s fantastic. I also love their smoked Arctic char pâté with hot honey, smoked salmon pâté, and smoked rainbow trout pâté. It’s creamy, delicate, buttery, and the natural smoke flavor comes through without it being overpowering and fishy. It’s a luxurious, gourmet spread, and my freezer is adequately stocked. Warning: be careful getting the smoked salmon niblets or any smoked item. They’re too reasonably priced and delicious and you’ll be sad when you run out. But really - everything here is great and the people are even better!
