Unfortunate experience with Pine Tree Construction. Hired them for a basement remodel and I would have been better off leaving it as it was before I met them. Like others mentioned, the owner Jay took no accountability when things went wrong. Gets his attorney involved as soon as you have a legitimate complaint about how bad things are. An old, scummy technique to get homeowners to pay or have to go to court. Contacted these guys to get some work done around my home. Was told to send a message with my address. Did so and didn’t hear anything over the course of the week. Call back multiple times, only to have The owner make excuses and continuously interrupt me every time I tried to speak. Extremely unprofessional.
Our kitchen was outdated and our master bedroom was too small. We called Pine Tree (one of the few construction companies to respond) and they came and gave us a good bid for the remodel. Their guys came in and had things tore out in no time. There were some delays while waiting on the structural engineers input, but it was worth the wait. Jay has been awesome to work with! They are honest, and precise. They don't give you a 2 week estimate deadline, and then keep pushing it back and back ( like most contractors do ) They will be upfront & will give you real project completion dates and actually make sure the project is completed on / before that date. Pine Tree helped me to finish my basement and remodel a bathroom on a rental property for me. The work was completed quickly which allowed me to easily move my tenants in on schedule. I would recommend Pine Tree to anyone needing some extra help renovating their home.
