These apartments are run by heartless, soulless, people. I was caring for my mother who just passed away from pancreatic cancer, and these monsters threw me, my two year old son, and my autistic brother out on the streets barely 12 hours after her passing, and wouldn't even let us get all of our belongings out. They made fun of us, laughed at us, and even brought the police with them. We always paid the rent on time, never caused any problems, and we're never a nuisance. no respect for tenants – on several occasions they allowed sub-contractors access to my apt without my presence, and when they assured me they would have southwood personell to oversee they lied. they gave these kids a key and let them do work, and got mad when i complained about the resulting damage they did to my cable tv service. i moved, they are no good.
Alright Place – I lived in this apartment complex for about 2 years. It was fine at first until night time came around and people started playing the loud noise at 2 o'clock in the morning. I've complained about it twice already and still nothing has been done about it. It's getting quite annoying but when you are stuck in a lease then theres not really to much you can do especially when you don't have the money to break the lease. tha hood – believe what you hear went 3 wks without air in the summer,they dont fix anything but when you move out the wanna charge you out the a$$ gunshots all nite, police, breakins, crackheads gone wild, noisey. military stay away i thought it was ok because i checked it out during the day plus you get the discount but once it gets dark its not worth it
BECAREFUL – I LIVED IN CAMBRIDGE ARMS ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO AND I LIVED IN A TOWNHOME THEY NEVER FIXED ANYTHING IN THERE. MY BATHROOM TUB IN THE HALL WAS NEVER USEABLE, MY AIR FILTER NEVER GOT CHANGED.MY APARTMENT GOT BROKEN INTO 3 TIMES THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I DIDNT RENEW MY LEASE BUT THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS
My family and I were at first happy with the transition into our new "home" but we were blinded by what we thought to be real customer service. Our concerns that we addressed in our opinion were handled very poorly, In our opinion we do not recommend them due to the great hardship that we had faced while living there.
