Phone staff was kind and reassuring about visiting for Urgent Psych Evaluation. Gave my general Medicaid insurance info more than once. No problem, they said. We can help! Drove an hour in extreme anxiety, only to arrive and learn that in fact, they don’t take Straight Medicaid. Why was this not explained on the phone! Waste of time, worsened my crisis. The negative reviews are right on target. Note: THEY DON’T TAKE STRAIGHT MEDICAID.
This review is for anyone scared and struggling but also scared about getting help at a place like Pine Rest. My greatest fear was having to get help at a mental health facility. Pine Rest completely eased that fear. The intake process was really easy, I ended up going on a Sunday and getting help not from the urgent Care that was closed but they were able to schedule me for evaluation the next day. I was there for 8 days, and they helped me so much through a tough time in my life. Roy is a good nurse there!
Terrible, Very rude. I'm 83. No way would mymy husband leave ne there. Christian? What a joke. We traveled a long way. Been on the same depression for years aren't working anymore . Have found someone close to help me. I wouldn't. Leave a stray dog there. .
